Mexican-Inspired! July 10 - 16, 2023, Meal Plan, Recipes, Grocery list, Tips, FAQs, and Food Brands

Hola! Here is this July 10-16's Mexican-inspired meal plan, recipes, grocery shopping list, food tips, FAQs, and ten food brand recommendations 👇
This week we bring you a Mexican-inspired meal plan.
Mexican cuisine, like the Mediterranean diet, is rich in fresh produce, lean proteins, and heart-healthy fats. It's a cuisine that celebrates color, texture, and most importantly, flavor.
Imagine the zest of lime, the kick of chili, the freshness of cilantro, all mingling with our Mediterranean staples like olive oil, fresh fish, and an abundance of fruits and vegetables.
Our Mexican-inspired Mediterranean meal plan will not only tantalize your taste buds but also provide the nutritional balance you've come to expect from our Mediterranean diet. We'll be swapping out tortillas for lettuce wraps for a low-carb option, incorporating a variety of proteins like grilled chicken, fish, and turkey, and using spices and herbs to pack in the flavor without adding unnecessary calories or fats.
Emphasis on Fresh Produce: Both diets place a strong emphasis on the consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables. These are often used as key ingredients in meals, providing a wide range of nutrients and flavors.
Use of Healthy Fats: Both diets incorporate healthy fats. The Mediterranean diet is known for its use of olive oil, while the Mexican diet often includes avocados and nuts, all of which are sources of monounsaturated fats that are good for heart health.
Lean Proteins: Both diets include lean proteins. The Mediterranean diet often includes fish and poultry, while the Mexican diet includes these as well as lean cuts of red meat.
Herbs and Spices: Both diets use a variety of herbs and spices to flavor their dishes, reducing the need for excessive salt or unhealthy fats.
Moderate Dairy: Both diets include dairy, but usually in moderate amounts. This could be yogurt or cheese in the Mediterranean diet, and cheese or sour cream in the Mexican diet.
Social Aspect: Both the Mediterranean and Mexican cultures place a high value on enjoying meals as a social event, often cooking and eating meals with family and friends.
