Mocha Protein Shake
Looking for a delicious and low-carb way to start your day or power up after a workout? Look no further than this creamy and chocolatey Mocha Protein Shake! Made with chilled black coffee, unsweetened almond milk, low-carb chocolate protein powder, unsweetened cocoa powder, and a touch of stevia, this shake is a healthy and satisfying way to satisfy your cravings and fuel your body.
For an extra creamy texture, you can use a frozen banana in place of some of the ice cubes.
If you prefer a stronger coffee flavor, you can use a dark roast coffee or double the amount of brewed coffee.
Customize your shake by adding a sprinkle of cinnamon or a drizzle of sugar-free chocolate syrup on top.
1 cup chilled brewed coffee
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop chocolate protein powder (low-carb)
1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1-2 packets of stevia (or low-carb sweetener of choice)
1 cup ice cubes
Start by brewing your coffee and allowing it to cool down. You can use your preferred method of brewing and adjust the strength of the coffee according to your taste.
In a blender, add the chilled brewed coffee and unsweetened almond milk.
Add the chocolate protein powder to the blender. Make sure to use a low-carb protein powder to fit your dietary needs.
Add the unsweetened cocoa powder to the blender. This will enhance the chocolate flavor of the shake.
If desired, add 1-2 packets of stevia or any other low-carb sweetener of your choice. Adjust the sweetness to your preference.
Add the ice cubes to the blender. The ice will help create a chilled and frothy texture for the shake.
Blend all the ingredients together on high speed until well combined and the shake reaches a smooth consistency.
Taste the shake and adjust the sweetness or coffee strength if needed. You can add more sweetener or coffee according to your preference.
Once the shake is smooth and well blended, pour it into a glass or a to-go cup.
Serve the Mocha Protein Shake immediately and enjoy!
