Ingredients

  • ½ lb lean ground turkey (99% fat-free)

  • ½ lb lean ground pork (90% lean or higher)

  • 2 tsp fresh sage, finely chopped

  • 1 small onion, finely diced (organic recommended)

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (organic recommended)

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard (no sugar added)

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

  • ½ tsp sea salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Directions

  1. Prepare the Mixture: In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, ground pork, fresh sage, onion, garlic, Dijon mustard, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  2. Form Patties: Shape the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.

  3. Cook the Burgers:

    • Stovetop: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook burgers for 4-5 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

    • Grill: Preheat grill to medium heat and cook for 4-5 minutes per side.

  4. Serve: Let the burgers rest for a couple of minutes before serving.240
