Ingredients

  • 4 slices of smoked salmon (lox)

  • 1 small cucumber

  • 1 ripe avocado

  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Prepare the fillings: Slice the cucumber and avocado into thin strips. Finely chop the red onion and dill. Mix the chopped red onion and dill together in a small bowl and set aside.

  2. Assemble the roll-ups: Lay out the smoked salmon slices on a clean surface. Place a few cucumber and avocado strips on each slice, leaving some space at one end to roll.

  3. Sprinkle the dill and red onion mixture evenly over the cucumber and avocado.

  4. Drizzle fresh lemon juice over each roll-up and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

  5. Roll up the smoked salmon slices tightly, starting from the end with the toppings. Press gently to secure the roll-ups.

  6. Slice each roll-up in half to create two servings.
