Ingredients

For the Burger:

4 Beyond Burger patties (from www.beyondmeat.com)

4 large lettuce leaves (such as romaine or butter lettuce)

Sliced tomatoes

Sliced onions

For the Sauce:

4 tablespoons sugar-free ketchup

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

  2. Place the Beyond Burger patties on the grill or grill pan. Cook for about 4 minutes on each side, or until they are heated through and have grill marks.

  3. While the patties are cooking, prepare the sauce by combining the sugar-free ketchup, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Stir well to combine.

  4. Once the patties are cooked, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a minute.

  5. Assemble the burgers by placing a Beyond Burger patty on a large lettuce leaf. Top with sliced tomatoes and onions.

  6. Drizzle the sauce over the toppings.

  7. Fold the lettuce leaf over the patty to form a burger wrap. You can secure it with a toothpick if needed.

  8. Repeat the process with the remaining patties and toppings.

  9. Serve the low-carb, high-protein plant-based burgers immediately.
