2 (6 oz) lean sirloin steaks
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cups sliced mushrooms
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup beef broth
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
Grill the steaks for 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes.
While the steaks are grilling, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for 4-5 minutes, until they start to brown.
Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for another minute.
Pour the beef broth into the skillet, stirring to deglaze the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the liquid has slightly reduced.
