  • 12 oz tilapia, cut into bite-size pieces

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 lime, juiced

  • 2 tbsp avocado oil

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp ground cumin

  • 1/2 tsp chili powder

  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 1 head butter lettuce or iceberg lettuce, leaves separated and washed

  1. In a bowl, combine the minced garlic, lime juice, avocado oil, paprika, ground cumin, chili powder, sea salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.

  2. Add the tilapia pieces to the marinade and toss until the fish is well coated. Allow it to marinate for about 15-20 minutes to enhance the flavor.

  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated fish pieces to the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  4. While the fish is cooking, prepare the lettuce wraps. Take the leaves of butter lettuce or iceberg lettuce and use them as a base for the taco wraps.

  5. Once the fish is cooked, remove it from the skillet and transfer to a plate.

  6. Place a few pieces of the cooked fish onto each lettuce leaf, creating individual taco wraps.

  7. Optional: You can add additional toppings such as diced tomatoes, sliced avocado, chopped cilantro, or a drizzle of hot sauce to enhance the flavor of your fish taco lettuce wraps.

  8. Serve the fish taco lettuce wraps immediately and enjoy!
