Ingredients

  • 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese

  • 1/2 cup fresh mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

  • 1 tablespoon slivered almonds

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon honey or a sugar substitute (optional)

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese with vanilla extract until well combined.

  2. In serving glasses or bowls, layer the cottage cheese mixture with fresh mixed berries.

  3. Sprinkle chia seeds and slivered almonds over each layer.

  4. Repeat the layers until you reach the top, finishing with a sprinkle of berries, chia seeds, and almonds.

  5. Drizzle honey or add a sugar substitute if desired for sweetness.

  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
