Chicken Asparagus Bake

4 oz boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-size pieces
12 asparagus spears, trimmed and cut into bite-size pieces
1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp chopped onion
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp dried thyme
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese (optional)
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
In a large bowl, mix together the chicken, asparagus, chicken broth, garlic, onion, paprika, thyme, salt, pepper, and olive oil.
Transfer the mixture to an 8-inch square baking dish.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the asparagus is tender.
If using, sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the top of the chicken and asparagus during the last 5 minutes of baking.
