Caprese salad with fresh mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and prosciutto
This Caprese Salad is perfect as a light lunch or dinner. Pair it with grilled chicken or fish for an extra protein boost. Enjoy it on its own or as a refreshing side dish during your Soza Weight Loss program.
8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
4 oz prosciutto, thinly sliced
1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste
Arrange fresh mozzarella slices on a serving platter.
Scatter halved cherry tomatoes and prosciutto slices over the mozzarella.
Tuck fresh basil leaves between the ingredients.
Drizzle extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the salad.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Gently toss the salad just before serving to combine flavors.
