Ingredients

  • 1 container firm or extra firm tofu, pressed and sliced into ¾ inch thick pieces

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tsp smoked paprika

  • 2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • 1 tsp dried thyme

  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

  2. In a small bowl, mix together the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, dried thyme, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.

  3. Brush both sides of each tofu slice with olive oil and then sprinkle the seasoning mixture on both sides of each slice, pressing it into the tofu.

  4. Place the seasoned tofu slices on a non-stick baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown, flipping them halfway through.
