4 oz (113 g) lean beef steak, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 small onion, thinly sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup sliced bell peppers (assorted colors)
1/2 cup sliced zucchini
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup broccoli florets
2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon ginger paste
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
In a small bowl, whisk together the low-sodium soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger paste, and red pepper flakes (if using). Set aside.
Heat the olive oil in a large non-stick skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the thinly sliced beef to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the sliced onions and minced garlic. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until the onions become translucent.
