Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets (about 4-5 oz each)

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 lemon (zest and juice)

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried thyme, and dried oregano. Season the mixture with a pinch of salt and pepper.

  3. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.

  4. Brush the lemon herb mixture over the salmon fillets, making sure to coat them evenly on all sides.

  5. Let the salmon marinate for about 15 minutes to absorb all the flavors.

  6. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  7. Once the salmon is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a minute before serving.

  8. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley for an extra burst of flavor.
