Ingredients

  • 1 large apple (preferably a tart variety like Granny Smith)

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 tsp powdered stevia or other low-carb sweetener

  • 1 tbsp melted coconut oil

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 225°F (107°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Wash and core the apple. Slice the apple very thinly using a mandolin or sharp knife.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together the cinnamon and powdered stevia.

  4. Place the apple slices in a large bowl and drizzle with melted coconut oil. Toss until the apple slices are evenly coated with the oil.

  5. Sprinkle the cinnamon and stevia mixture over the apple slices, tossing to coat.

  6. Arrange the apple slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 2-3 hours or until the apple slices are dry and crispy.

  7. Remove from the oven and allow the chips to cool completely on the baking sheet. Serve and enjoy!
