About
Gus is the co-founder and a Precision Nutrition Certified Health Coach at SOZA. He's dedicated the last 10 years to helping people lose weight, reduce their medications, and improve their overall health with the SOZA Weight Loss program. He works with doctors to bring SOZA Weight Loss's specialized treatment in obesity to small cities around the country.
Gus himself also struggled with his weight for many years. After his childhood friend and co-founder, Dr. Anthony Wehbe lost 50 pounds on the SOZA weight loss program, he also did the program and lost 35 pounds.
He then quit his corporate job at one of the biggest multinational food manufacturers in the world and opened the first SOZA Clinic in Center City, Philadelphia (next to the Rocky Statue).
Gus is also a wellness advocate and enthusiast. He consults with holistic doctors nationwide on ways to combat the obesity epidemic. Gus truly believes we can all transform our lives by adapting to and following a healthy, wellness-focused lifestyle.
He continuously studies food nutrition, sports nutrition, and food sustainability. Some more of his certifications include Stanford Online University's Food Sustainability, Mindful Eating, and Healthy Cooking, Weight Management and Obesity at Emory University, Nutrition Science: Obesity and Healthy Weight Loss at Aberdeen University, and The Business of Health Care by the University of Pennsylvania Medicine. He has appeared on Miami NBC 6 Health in the Mix, discussing healthy eating and healthy cooking.
If you ever bumped into Gus, it would most likely be at a health foods store helping fellow shoppers make better food choices.
