Ingredients

Grilled Steak Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless ribeye steaks (about 8 ounces each)

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Roasted Broccoli Ingredients:

  • 1 large head of broccoli, cut into florets

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional for some heat)

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Directions

Grilled Steak:

  1. Start by taking the ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator about 30 minutes before cooking to allow them to come to room temperature. This helps in achieving a more even cook.

  2. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Meanwhile, prepare the steak seasoning by mixing the garlic powder, smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.

  3. Pat the steaks dry with a paper towel and brush them with olive oil on both sides. Sprinkle the seasoning mix generously on each side of the steaks, pressing the spices into the meat.

  4. Place the seasoned steaks on the preheated grill or grill pan and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time to your preferred level of doneness.

  5. Once the steaks are cooked to your liking, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Roasted Broccoli:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, garlic powder, chili flakes (if using), salt, and black pepper until they are evenly coated.

  3. Spread the seasoned broccoli on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.

  4. Roast the broccoli in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until they become tender and slightly crispy at the edges.
