Ingredients

  • 1 lb peeled shrimp

  • 1 tsp sea salt

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter

  • 1/4 cup dry white wine

  • 1 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice

Directions

  1. Dry the shrimp using paper towels. Cover the shrimp with sea salt and let sit for 10 to 15 minutes.

  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. Increase the heat to high and add the shrimp to the skillet. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the shrimp turns pink and starts to curl up.

  4. Add the unsalted butter to the skillet and sauté for another 1-2 minutes until the butter melts and coats the shrimp.

  5. Pour in the dry white wine and continue to cook the shrimp for 1-2 minutes until the wine reduces by half.

  6. Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in fresh parsley and lemon juice. Serve hot and enjoy!
